Bike Riding Tours

Bushwalking, Bird Watching

Weekend tours 7pm Friday 4pm Sunday

Your weekend tour (bike,art,bushwalking,photography,etc) will begin on Friday night where we will meet at the Killarney hotel, for dinner and drinks(not included in package). Ned will discuss weekends plans and preferred areas to visit (according to the group).back to cottage for a night cap around the bon fire.

Full hot breakfast, cereals fruit etc served (bike riders may prefer something lighter, and an earlier start). 9am off to start exploring the countryside-picnic morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.

3pm back to cottage-drop off gear, then off to view the sunset from the top of the plateau, champagne and canapés in hand.

Back to cottage for dinner by the fire, ending the night with night cap and view the stars by the bonfire.

Sunday, same schedule but visiting different areas, back to cottage by 3.pm
depart for Brisbane arrive back approx 6pm.

Cost $220 per person.(min 6 persons) includes breakfast ,m/teas,lunches,afternoon teas, touring sat/sun ,champagne and canapés at sunset on sat.2 nights accommodation at Killarney cottage.


Day tours. (Photography, bird watching, picnics, etc)

Tour begins with 7am pick up from pre arranged area.

8am arrival Boonah for short stop.
9am arrive Wilson’s peak lookout then on to queen Mary falls for yummy morning tea and short walk to view the falls. From there we will depart to go exploring the surrounding countryside. 12pm. At lunch time we will stop on top of the Condamine gorge and sit down for our gourmet picnic lunch complete with table, chairs and white tablecloth.

1.30 we will continue on our scenic drive ,choose a spot for our afternoon tea then depart Killarney for Brisbane 4pm arriving back at approx 6pm.

Day art tours (any medium-non instructional or with instruction by Dianne Kelly - watercolours, drawing, pastels, pen and inks only)

Imagine organizing your own art group and being driven up to Killarney for the day. Your day will include picnic morning tea, lunch includes wine, (sit down with chairs white tablecloth) and afternoon tea, while you are out on the field.

Ned will drive you to the most magical spots for inspiration ,including old farm houses with interesting old machinery pieces scattered around, rolling hills and plateaus ,dotted with fabulous pasture and tree patterns, not unlike Tuscany, eucalypt forests, mountains and gorges, babbling pebbled streams, waterfalls ,majestically cascading down over moss covered rocks, rainforests, wild flowers coloured parrots and much more. (A painters heaven, believe me I have experienced it all as an artist, and have found it very hard to pull myself away from each subject.)

Your choice of subjects you wish to paint can be discussed on the way up then the days schedule can be finalized according to your wishes for subject matter.

Depart 4pm
Arrive back in Brisbane approx 6pm.
